Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct Policy as stated below is directed toward the individual players/gamers/visitors to our server. Each individual game may or may not have their own set of rules/policies/Code of Conduct and RPGWorlds will support any and all of these except when conflicting with the Server Code of Conduct.

At RPGWorlds we believe that all gamers should be treated as equals. We
do not discriminate based on age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic
background, country of origin, religious preferences and believe in the
rights of individuals to speak their minds in a civil manner that shows
respect for the others who visit our server. This is an English based
server, and any statements that translate to rude statements or swearing
or any other language that may be misunderstood by English speaking
people to be rude will be asked to be changed or further action may be
taken.
 

In an effort to provide a comfortable, pleasant and enjoyable experience while visiting our server, RPGWorlds does not tolerate any harassment (whether of a personal or sexual nature or anything else that constitutes the harassment of another person).

RPGWorlds has zero tolerance for the legal definition of "stalking" another person on our server. RPGWorlds will cooperate with local, State, Provincial, National, and International legal authorities in the documentation and reporting of such instances for further investigation and possible legal action to be accomplished.

RPGWorlds supports freedom of expression except when in the form of bigotry, hatred, threats of harm or abuse directed towards another person on the server.

RPGWorlds does not allow any rooms for the express purpose of sexual materials either in subject matter, room names or topic lines, including but not limited to advertisements of what would constitute sites expressly used for adult entertainment purposes or any content of sexual expression that is illegal by the laws of the State of California.

RPGWorlds does not allow any discussions or distribution of anything that would constitute an illegal activity, i.e., drugs, warez, cracking or anything else that constitutes illegal substances or contraband, nor do we allow vhosts without prior approval.

RPGWorlds does not allow any channels or games to be hosted on our server that could be considered infringing upon the copyright of any other RPG game whether hosted on this server or not (This also includes Channel Names, and in some cases Nicks some may use). RPGWorlds reserves the right to ban such channels and games from its servers without notice. Further, RPGWorlds reserves the right to ban the individual(s) from participating on its servers.

RPGWorlds DOES NOT allow any kind of bots to be used on the system for any reason unless it has first been reviewed, and authorized for usage by the Chatmaster, or/and the Assistant Chatmaster. Anyone found doing so can have their Bot, and their self removed, and/or banned from the system without warning. Also the name "Dice" is reserved for RPG-Worlds Dice bots and MAY NOT be used in any way in the nick for a Bot, or user on the system. The same goes for any of the other bots copyrighted to RPG-Worlds, nor may any form of variations of that name be used unless permission is given by the Chatmaster. Also, the name of one Bot cannot be used for any other Bot on the server. Anyone found in violation of this will be removed from the system without warning, and can also be banned per the decision of the staff of RPGWorlds.

RPGWorlds has a 0% tolerance policy concerning the usage of any form, or type of war scripts, clients, or bots on the system for any reason. These are classified as scripts/clients that perform the following:

• Nuking, or any form of DOS attacks.
   
• Port-Scanning, Port Probing, or Trojan scanning.
   
• Any form of channel harassment, or takeover.
   
• Any form of ICMPing clients/scripts.
   
• Any form of scripts/clients that spread viruses, or Trojans/worms.
   
• Any form of Hacking, or user exploiting scripts/clients.
   
• Or any other form of scripts/clients that perform malicious functions.
   

RPGWorlds also doesn't allow online any forms of:

• Spamming scripts/clients.
   
• File leech scripts/clients.
   
• FTP, and File server scripts/clients.
   

Anyone found in violation of this will be banned without warning for no less than 48 hours, and/or up to permanent at the discretion of the staff. Also constant violation of this policy will result in the user's ISP being notified of the problem.

RPGWorlds reserves the right to decide what types of scripts, and clients, may be used on this network.
